Judging Process
The first stage of the judging process will determine if the application meets the awards general eligibility. If successful, an entry will be put before the judging panel who will begin their deliberations on the 9th February 2009. All judges will be involved in judging all categories.
Based on your submission of text and other media the judges will discuss entries and then select a shortlist, followed by finalists and winners. All judging will be conducted through the website.
We will ensure that participating judges will not be able to judge their own project or product entries. Other than their own selections, judges and the public will be unaware of winning results, which will be announced at the final ceremony.
The judges decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into.
Judging Criteria
The judging criteria are simple. The project or product that the judges believe best meets 'Design Excellence' will win.
Public Rating
An innovative online system will allow the general public to rate different products and projects and influence our judges with their opinions.
