Biography

Paul has been writing about food and drink for over 12 years, mostly for William Reed Business Media's publications. He spent six years as Editor of CLASS, the leading monthly title for the top-end bar industry, and since September 2007, has edited Restaurant magazine. As well as contributing to other business titles, Paul has also written for consumer publications such as the Wall Street Journal and the Guardian, and penned a short book on tequila.

What is design excellence?

Design excellence means something aesthetically exciting, of course, but as important, if less sexy, are relevance, appropriateness and practicality.
