Biography
Michelle was born in Manchester; grew up in London; studied Architecture at London's celebrated Bartlett School and worked in architectural offices in both London and New York, where she lived for two years. She shuttled between Los Angeles and London for another couple, returning full-time to the UK in 2000, setting up the MO:Studio design consultancy two years later. She now lives between London and Brighton.
What is design excellence?
I defer entirely to William Morris, for he said, "have nothing in your home that you do not believe to be beautiful or know to be useful"; anything that subscribes to that mantra is probably excellently-designed.- Bethan Ryder Living etc
