Biography

Taissa Buescu. Born in New York and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Graduated in law, she worked as a corporate lawyer until 2003. Then she decided to go to Italy to accomplish her passion: work in the field of design. For 7 years, Taissa worked in Milan as a freelance journalist, collaborating with several design, interiors and lifestyle magazines such as L'Uomo Vogue and Casa Vogue (Italian and Brazilian editions), AD, Elle Decor Italia, Elle Decoration UK, Case da Abitare, Grazia Casa and Interni, among others. During this period, she also curated exhibitions between Italy and Brazil, traveling around the world in a quest for cutting-edge design and new trends in interiors and architecture. In September 2010 Taissa was made the editor-in-chief of Casa Vogue in Brazil, edited by Ediçoes Globo Condé Nast.
