Biography

In his 17 years working in the restaurant and hospitality industry Roy has created, managed and developed numerous flagship sites for a multitude of companies, clients and chefs. Over the last 3 years Roy has been a major driving force in the vision of the Compass Leisure division. He has overseen the refurbishment and concept development of many high profile sites, Including; Tom's Kitchen, Terrace and Deli at Somerset House, the Barbican Foodhall and Lounge, Café Liberty at the prestigious department store. Roy is passionate about everything he does. He is a true restaurateur through and through. Always full of new ideas, he has a real eye for detail and thrives on constant innovation and creativity.

Making something striking and pleasing to the eye! Interesting, enticing but most importantly interactive! Good design should enhance the environment rather than dominate it. It enhances the customer experience and stimulates the senses, from an operator's perspective, it makes the practical beautiful.
