Preparing your entries
If you made an entry last year, you will be pleased to know that the process has been greatly simplified this year.
However, before you begin to make an online entry you must make absolutely sure that you have the following prepared in support of your application:
What you will need:
- Full contact and location details for the restaurant or bar and full contact details for the project's designer.
- To have made a decision on which category you wish to enter the project. Work can be entered into as many categories as you feel are appropriate and relevant but an individual entry must be made in each case.
- Textual content ready to cut and paste in to the relevant boxes. You have up to 400 characters (approximately 60 words) for each text box:
- Design brief
- Design challenges
- Design results
- Up to six good quality images of your project. Images must be JPEG format and no bigger than 1MB in size and no bigger than 1600 pixels by 1600 pixels. IMPORTANT NOTE: Unlike last year, images can be of any dimension, the only proviso is that they are under 1MB in filesize.
So, you think you're ready?
If you are sure that you have read and understood the entry criteria and that you have prepared the content for your submission as detailed, then you may proceed:
Please be aware that you have a time limit of 50 minutes for each page of the application form. However, you are able to save your application so you can return and edit at a later date. Simply scroll to the foot of the form and select 'save and exit'. The option to return and edit will be available at your 'my account' homepage when you next login.
